Making jewelry is a passion. Apart from jewelry I also make objects. I show and sell in galleries and at exhibitions both in the Netherlands and abroad. My jewelry is often constructed from elementary shapes such as spheres and cones, which I sometimes join together in groups. Jewelry must be wearable, of course, but I consider this secondary to my designs. I work with a variety of materials such as wood (often ebony) or metals, both precious and non-precious. I use a lathe for wood working, Often I use unusual tools to create new spatial forms, such as a laser. I use a knife for folding and carving metal sheets. My sources of inspiration are Nature, African forms and modern Art and Architecture.
